Marchwood FC first started in the 2005/2006 and joined the SCCFL (City of Southampton Sunday Football League). Its fair to say we didnt really set the league on fire, recording no wins in all compertitions. In truth we didn't draw any games either meaning we suffered 18 concecutive league defeats and 2 first round cup exists. In our first season we some how managed to leak 168 league goals and only scored 7 for our effort.

Despite these results the lads enjoyed turning out and haveing a game of football on a sunday morning and haveing a good drink in the afternoon to try and drown our sorrows after what would of been another crushing defeat.
