Maresfield Village Football Club is a successful and friendly club running 5 teams throughout the Mid-Sussex Leagues, as well as Veterans, Ladies and a Youth team.
The club is situated in Maresfield Village, with additional pitches at Isfield and Nutley. Training takes place at Uckfield Rugby Club on Tuesday evenings. League matches are played on Saturdays, with Veterans, Ladies and Youth teams competing on Sundays.
The club is involved in regular fundraising events such as car boot sales, competitions and one-off events to try and improve facilities and keep down the costs to players. We have a well equiped clubhouse, with four changing rooms, a bar, and a kitchen selling hot and cold snacks.
We have the services of a club physio, and are always looking for other ways in which to improve the backup offered to players.
The success of the club comes from it's strong social side with many events being organised. In addition to the weekly gatherings after matches in the clubhouse, we have visits to Horse racing, organised golf days and darts nights. We offer two major social parties, one for Christmas and one at the end of each season.
Maresfield Village Football Club is a forward looking club expanding to cater for more and more people from Maresfield, Uckfield and the surrounding area.
