A disappointed Margate drew with League Champions Canterbury 1-1, but should have taken all 3 points. Margate dominated in mid-field with Reece Greig and Jack Eames leading the charge. Margate felt that opportunities by Llewan Campbell, Reece Walker and Max Whalebone, should have gave a convincing half time lead, but it remained 0-0. The Gate scored early in the second half, with a turn and shot from Campbell; Margate pressed and Harry Day, Walker and Greig went close. Canterbury scored with 10mins left, with their 1st shot of the game. Leon Guess headed against the bar from a Hadley Holden corner, but could not grab that elusive winner. George English starred at the back and pick up the MOM award.
