The Hawks continued where they left off last week with another goal fest.
A change to the lineup saw Kieran Clark take over in goals a back line of Oliver Swale , Sam Hewitt , Oliver Brocklehurst and Connor Peacock a midfield Levi Maslauskas-Nicholson, James Reynolds , Jacob Poole , Mike Kimpton and William Rayson all supporting Morgan Miles upfront .
The Hawks got away to a flying start as first Maslauskas-Nicholson tested the Darley Dale defence with a weaving run through the centre before miles tried a speculative shot pushed out for the first of a series of corners , Poole then ghosted in on a through ball from Kimpton to open the scoring for the Hawks. Miles then claimed the first of his 6 goals with a tap in following a neat lay off from Rayson. A clearance from the Darley Dale keeper then bounced clear allowing a goal to be pulled back before the Hawks stepped up a gear and again forced a series of corners delivered with accuracy by Maslauskas-Nicholson and Hewitt up from his normal defensive role claimed a headed goal to make it 3 : 1 , Poole then grabbed his second .The game was spaced with rolling substitutions as Callum Musgrave, Charlie Horridge and Aedan Frazer all joined the match, before Miles raced clear to claim his second and take it into half time at 5 : 1 to the Hawks.
The second half saw more of the same solid defensive and midfield play and attacks flowing from all areas of the pitch, Miles a man on a mission after a quiet week last week proceeded to claim 4 goals back to back the final goal a veritable net buster from outside the area. The back line then not to be outdone saw Brocklehurst raiding down the right with Musgrave and a neatly worked passage of play saw Reynolds’s shot pushed round the post for a corner, delivered with precision as normal and finished with a delightful volley by Brocklehurst to make it 10 : 1, before Kimpton rounded off the scoring with a solo goal taking on the midfield and defence before slotting home to close the match out at 11 : 1 to a Hawks side still unbeaten this season.
Man of the Match again impossible to pick such was the team performance Miles with 6 goals, Clark stepping into goals to cover for the injured Harwood and defenders Hewitt and Brocklehurst both claiming goals
