Formed (funnily enough) in 2000, Medway 2000 play their games in the Medway Messenger Sunday League competition.

Formed by a group of friends who just fancied a kick about on a Sunday morning they added to their ranks with a number of other players who didn't want to take everything too seriously.

A couple of managerial changes and a lot of players coming and going has seen the team change considerably since it's conception 9 years ago

Taking over as manager from Peter Hockney in 2006, Ryan Andrews' first season in charge saw them finish seventh in Division 4, having been promoted from Division 5 the previous year. A poor run in at the end of the year meant they slipped down a number of places and missed out on promotion.

In his second season they went one better and finished in 6th place, but would have done been pushing for a top three place had they not had a poor middle part of the season.

During the close season that year the MMSFL was overhauled to make all of the divisions the same size, after a number of teams in the higher divisions folded. This restructure put Medway into Division 3 for the 08/09 season.

Two more consecutive promotions put the club into Division 1 for 2010/11 and despite having a poor season they will play there again in 2011/12.
