ABOUT THE CLUB

Menai Bridge Tigers FC play in the North Wales Anglesey Junior League.
The aim of the Club:-
To encourage more boys and girls to play football.
Encourage and develop more volunteers to coach and develop the kids as they progress through the different age groups.
Develop talented players to support future football in Wales.

The Club has on average 100 children registered every season from the young under 7's to the under 16's.
The Club achieved a "Bronze Award" in conjunction with the FAW/McDonalds in recognition of achieving quality standards within the club.
This is down to the hard work of the committee and volunteers who give up there spare time in help running the club.

2008 season went back to its roots of sporting the original team colours of Black & Yellow stripes across all the age groups. On top of that we now have our new "badge/crest" which you can see to the left of the site. The new crest came about by setting a competition for the lads and lassess of the club to come up with new design/logo.
The winner was Luke Baxter, who at the time played for the under 9's.Luke received a worth while prize for his work.
All clubs know only to well how hard it is to get sponsorship, especially in todays climate. However,we have been very fortunate this season to have gained fantastic support in the way of sponsorship from local businessess. To date we are very proud to have such good sponsors.

2009 see's the long awaited return of a Senior Team competing in the "North Wales/Anglesey Kitchen Medic League". It has been some 20 years since last we had a senior team here at Menai Bridge and great to see lads who have come up through the age groups playing at a higher level, they have done themselves proud.
Currently lying top of the league and not daunted by some good teams in the division, I wish them well in there campaign. (28/09/09).
