Reserves

MICHELMERSH & TIMSBURY RESERVES 2007/08

This season will be a tough one for our Reserves who have been placed in the Southampton League's new look Senior Division (formerly Senior Division 1 - we have been promoted by default).

Since our three year stint in the old Hampshire League Combination 2 ended in 2004, we had been again playing in Senior Division 2. Sadly new leagues with Combination Divisions for reserve teams at higher levels have seen a decline in numbers suitable for Senior football locally, so this season for the first time in over 50 years the league will operate with two Senior Divisions.

The last few seasons have seen us maintain a steady mid-table position
and provide plenty of support to the 1st XI. This is again very much our objective for this season.

Our home games played at either Mannyngham Way or Hunts Farm, Timsbury where any support will always be very welcome - in any shape or form!

Training sessions are held every Wednesday night at Romsey School where everyone will be made most welcome.
