Times are hard, yes, but we need to keep the funds coming in to sustain the Club that we have built in the heart of our community here in Carluke. Milton Rovers YFC can cash in on your old clothing, jackets, footwear and trade it in for much needed cash to keep the Clubs' great facilities, clubhouse and teams competing in the SFA approved local leagues at competitive and non-competitive level and also teach and inspire local youngsters to particpate and make friends within our local community and the football & sporting community and give them the opportunity to develop life skills and possibly become a star of the future. Ian McKnight will be available to collect any items that you no longer require and are hoarding in your cupboards and convert them into much needed cash for the Club. All you have to do is place your items in a black bin bag or box and drop them off at the Clubhouse in the home dressing room any night of the week (the dressing room furthest away from the front door). Ian will uplift the items and they will be taken to a distributor and converted into cash per the kilo. The heavier the load, the more cash for the Club. So look out your old raincoats, jackets, wellies, shoes, boots and other clothing items and hand them into the Club. What could be easier, you dump your old clothes and the Club gets cash for them.
Why didn't we think of it sooner..............

Recycling CD’s and DVD’s means £££££ for Milton Rovers. Our first fundraiser of 2011 will be to collect unwanted cd’s and dvd’s with their original covers(including bar codes) and in their original cases/boxes.
Any donations can be deposited in the collection box located in the 2nd changing room at Burn Road Pavilion. Please ask family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues to help us reach our initial target of 500 items.
