ABOUT THE CLUB

Well done all the trophy winners at the Club Awards Night at the Golden Curry on May 13th. Thanks to Peter Motis & Alex Blythe for the video editing and to Superman, Bat Man & Spiderman for their special guest appearances! (You had to be there!)

The season has finished with our inter-age challenge. Fours teams played 6 30 minute matches each with the really old boys using their experience to come out on top! The Legends won, the men came 2nd, the boys third and the lads (the very young guys) showed great promise but came fourth!

MCC Vets Won the SACFL Cup Final vs Coign Church at Molesey FC on Thurs 12 March. 0-1 down with 20 to go, goals from Andy Litchfield & Ian Pendry won the trophy, brilliant stuff!

The K Team lost to Duke Street in the SACFL Trophy Final at Corinthian Casuals on Thurs 19 March. A great performance by our young team against many former Div 1 Players. A great experience but they were too strong on the night, lost 0-5.

The Vets lost to Yarm Vineyard Church from Yorkshire in the final of the National Christian Vets Cup at Rushden & Diamonds on April 4th. We were robbed, 5 offside goals, 2 lucky deflections is sadly not an accurate reflection of the game! We lost 1-7 to a far better side although we didnt play anywhere near what we can on the day. That's football!

Club motto: "Do unto others as you would have them do to you." (Luke 6:31) or in footy speak "Play the way you want the opposition to"

MCCFC Aims

• To share our Christian Faith with anyone who would like to hear
• To introduce people to others to develop friendships
• To provide a game of football for people within and connected to the Molesey Community
• To have a valid excuse not to go shopping on a Saturday afternoon
• To enjoy and win football matches

Check out the player stories in the Club Docs section.
