ABOUT THE CLUB

ABOUT US

Mountsorrel Juniors Football Club was founded by Barry Harrison in July 1994 with the aid of the Mountsorrel Sports and Leisure Association. He started with only 6 boys, and the first teams were entered into leagues in 1995-6. Barry, his wife Faith, have worked tirelessly for the Club ever since.

It is hoped that one day the club will be able to expand the grounds that we play on at Halstead Road. The long-term aim is to be able to buy our own ground, with floodlights, so that we will be able to enter the boys - and girls - in the floodlight leagues at Under 18, and even take them on into adult football.

The club is currently making great strides to offer as many children as possible opportunity to play football within our club, furthermore we have received tremendous support from the local parish who are impressed by our never-ending enthusiasm and determination to firmly put Mountsorrel football on the map.

The club extends a warm welcome to every visitor to our website, we hope you enjoy your visit and that you come back again in the future.
