In conjunction with the English Football Association and the Middlesex County Football League the Mauritius Sports Association UK (MSA) were able to organise and send members on a three hour Emergency first aid course.

Held at the Fredrick Knight Sports Ground, in Tottenham, the instructor was able to teach and demonstrate the importance of first aid in sport. Members had the opportunity to practise mouth to mouth resuscitation on specially adapted dummies and the recovery position on each other. Members also took part in an answer and question session.

At the end of the evening members were presented with certificates, which are valid for three years, and went away with some vital knowledge and information in emergency first aid.

Feizal Sobratty, Lindsay Boyaram, Vikash Seenayah & Michel Ramasawmy all re-qualified as First Aiders

Vijay Beekarry, Roy Beeharry, Ab’d Samad Maherally, Vissen Appadu, Darren Appadu, Richard Coley, Marvin Ferguson & Cherlene Wilson have now all qualified as First Aiders for the first time.
