The Story so far.......
14 Jul 2009

The team was established in 2005, with the aim for a group of friends to play football together. It's a testament to the fortitude of those original members that the team still exists has no outstanding debt and, perhaps, most importantly has been very successful.

Starting out at the bottom rung of the Bromsgrove League ladder (Div 3) the Dog now have their place in Div 1 after consecutive promotions. Each year there have been cup prizes to go with the league victories. In the inaugural 2005-2006 season the club won the League Cup- an achievement which demonstrated their dominance of the division that year.

2006-2007 proved to be equally as successful though a treble bid was halted in another League Cup final. Double success would prove possible though as La Coruna won their most impressive piece of silverware to date, the Worcestershire FA Sunday Minor Cup. County success proved that the La Coruna could be competitive outside of the Bromsgrove league.

2007-2008 was the first season for La Coruna in the top flight of the Bromsgrove!

2008-2009 the club stepped up once again, with an influx of quality players to bolster the already impressive squad. This proved to be the case as the La Coruna steam train ploughed through the season with what proved to be the most successful season to date with League Division 1, League Cup & Bridgewater Cup victories.

2009-2010-The Navigation’s latest complete season has proved their most successful to date, and shows just how far the side has come in five years. Victories in the Worcester FA Sunday Junior Cup (the most prestigious trophy any side in the Bromsgrove & District Football League can attempt to attain), LMS Shield, Bridgwater Cup and gaining their fifth successive league title completed their phenomenal quadruple.

The 2010-2011 season began well, with the core of the squad intact. Sponsors A1 Trade Print Services, Burchell Edwards and The Medical World Experience have all signed up, with A1 renewing their long-standing deal.
