If the season we just had at Netherton was a roller coaster,it's one you'd want to ride again and again.

With Blez now at the helm and a new coach in Matt,supported by Eddie and Paul,perhaps it would take a while to gel,and when it did the team became the team to watch in the division as some of the high flyers in the division came to find out.

The pre season had gone well and after an opening day 9-1 win over Scisset all seemed well.

The lads however only won one of the next six games before overcoming collegians at home with a 1-0 win.

It was then another seven games before the next leauge win but there was no need to worry,as blez and the boys had found the magic dust.

Over the last eleven games the lads lost only twice as they raced up the table beating all before them and becoming the team nobody wanted to face before time ran out on a push for a promotion place.

The game of the season is hard to pick,there was the game at Dalton where the lads were 4-0 down and came away with a point,the 3-1 home win when we executed some well deserved revenge over Skelmanthorpe,the way we battled to hold HAFC to a 2-2 scoreline,but i'm gonna pick the 7-6 home win over Gomersal as the game of the season.

The funniest moment of the season had no contest,Sullys triple somersault double spin roll around in agony(please ref give us a penalty)is something which still makes me smile now :0)

Its been a pleasure watching the team this season i'm sure you'll all agree.
