Friends of Newchurch FC [2 Aug @ 10:00pm]
Newchurch FC has been in existence since the 1930's, and many, many players will have played for the club, and others have provided valuable help, support and advice. Whilst the current players are noted on their respective pages, up to now there has been nowhere to acknowledge the help and support provided in past season, and for ex-players, supporters and the local community to provide continued support in the future. So we have created the 'Friends of Newchurch FC' page. On here will be listed the people who have provided a nominal £10 to help with the running costs of the club, which last season saw over £5,000 pass through our club bank account but leave little excess of income. Each individual will have their name, photograph and a small biog. Hopefully, this will generate some much needed additional funds to help with the plans for new changing rooms, and improved facilities at Watery Lane, not only for the Senior Sides, but for The Colts as well. Mark or 'Haggis' has been involved with the club for many seasons, but due to his job flying round the world has not been available on a regular basis. His continued support is very welcome.
