Getting better
Had a much better season this time around.After losing the first league game by the odd goal in 9 at home to Droitwich Spa Eagles, we the won 8-1 at home to Littleworth, sandwiching a 4-1 home victory vs Northwick vale in between in the Bernard Finegan! Was this to be the year?Prinner Sports put paid to our Nursing Cup hopes, but then 3 league wins on the bounce put us 2nd in the division. Another Kiddy Div 1 team, Headless Cross, sorted us out in the County Cup, and local rivals Claines give us a 7-0 thumping in the BF!, a game that saw Jay Widdett sent off after a blatent dive by "soon to be ours" Sliwa. Indifferent form followed during Jan and Feb, and we eventually finished mid-table, although after the initial season, not bad at all.
Top scorers were Lee Grubb(22), Pat Badham(7), Mike Freestone(5), and everyone else chucking in with 2 or 3 apiece
