Our intention is to create a pyramid system throughout the club that enhances player development whether it is through the Academy or the Development Centre.

This will be achieved by bringing together the best young players in South Wales to give them top quality coaching, matches & education. Within our Academy, our aim is to develop players to allow them to play at the highest posssible standard they can achieve. We will provide regular fixtures against professional league clubs, as well as offer the young players to play fixtures on a weekly basis in the  Junior Premier League South.  The Newport County Junior Academy will also provide regular training sessions and give specialist advice on fitness and nutrtion.

We believe we can offer the Academy players the opportunity to Develop their skills both on and off the field.
