Our intention is to create a pyramid system throughout the club that enhances player development whether it is through the Academy or the Development Centre. "The aim of the Newport County Junior Academy is to give a young player the best possible opportunities aspire to the ranks of a proffessional footballer" This will be achieved by bringing together the best young players in South Wales to give them top quality coaching, games & education.Within our Academy, our aim is to develop players to allow them to play at the highest posssible standard they can achieve. We will provide regular fixtures against proffessional league clubs, as well as offer the young players to play fixtures on a weekly basis in the Midland Junior Premier League. Player will also have the opportunity to play in the FAW Academy Cup.The Newport County Junior Academy will also provide regular training sessions and give specialist advice on fitness and nutrtion. We believe we can offer the Academy players opportunity to Develop their skills both on and off the field.
