The new club website homepage

Your club website homepage is the first thing people see when they come to your website, so we’re giving you the chance to stamp your club’s mark on your website!

As well as putting administrators in control of their website’s design and colour scheme, we’ve also made a big change to the homepage that allows them to setup their site exactly as they want to.

Allow us to introduce the homepage pods (highlighted, right) – individual sections that preview and link through to a particular part of your website, including:

About us / Latest News / Sponsors / Fixtures / Results / League Table / Player Profiles / Photo Gallery / Video Gallery / Poll / Club Cashback / Coaching Corner

Once logged into your website, administrators can drag & drop each pod into the position that they choose on the homepage. This allows them to give more prominence to specific areas of your site*.

If you don’t want to display a particular pod, no problem!

The Screen Options button (left) opens a panel that allows administrators to choose which pods appear on your homepage (below). Simply tick/un-tick the appropriate sections and click Save.

Alternatively, just click on the ‘X’ button in the top right corner of each pod to remove the pod. Administrators can also click the ‘Edit’ button to jump straight to the admin pages for the section in question.

* Note: As the About Us and Latest News pods are twice the size of the others, these cannot be moved about the page. They can, however, be turned on/off in the same manner as the other pods.
