A football team’s home is their fortress – a place to take pride in, inspire those who call it their home and strike fear into visitors in search of points. At least it should be.
Whether you play in the Premier League or the Hull Under 13 Boys League, a home fixture should mean home advantage and a psychological edge from the moment the teams arrive for the game.
But how can a home ground become a fortress when it’s falling apart at the seams?
Club Website will be hitting the road again this weekend as our facilities tour heads up the M1 to Yorkshire, so if you play your football in the area then get in touch!
Since we launched our Football Revolution at the start of this season we’ve found out that you’re not happy with the state of football facilities in this country, so we’ve been getting out and about to see for ourselves.
Want to settle a debate with a team mate but need some serious numbers to back you up?
Want to put a question to the vote with thousands of people waiting to respond? Well now you can, courtesy of Club Website!
In case you hadn’t noticed… it’s a little bit chilly outside! The UK is in its longest cold snap for decades, so we’ve all been battling the snow to get to work, kids have been off school all over the country – those were the days! – and hot water bottle sales have rocketed!
Most importantly of all, the ‘big freeze’ – a term coined by the news channels who’ve been talking about nothing else for days (has all other news stopped happening?) – means this weekend’s football programme is in tatters!
With Christmas almost upon us, amateur footballers across the UK are ready to put their feet up and enjoy a much-deserved Christmas break. We hope you have a great festive season and get to properly re-charge those batteries, because Club Website needs you in the New Year!
We need you to get involved in the Football Revolution and join us in exposing some of the worst facilities that footballers up and down the country are having to put with week in and week out.
