HISTORY SO FAR.........

Newtown Rovers Football Club was founded back in 1975 and joined the Colchester & District Sunday League the following season.

To date, Newtown are the longest serving club in the Sunday League and have 2 teams (1st team & Reserves) competing in Divisions 2 & 3 respectively.

This season (2006/2007), the club is playing its' 31st season as a League club.
