This was the final match of the regular league season. A win in this match ensured Ngongotaha of second spot on the league table.
The first half was a difficult affair with Ngongotaha not playing to their fullest potential. Half way through the first half, aleft footed volley from Deltyn Scott found the back of the net. This was how the first half ended.
After a srtong half time motivational speech from the coach, the Orange devils came out in the second half with a lot more fire in theit bellies. A very strong second half performance saw Deltyn score two more goals with two incredibly well timed vollies including the last of his hat trick from just inside the half way line. Ellis breadmore scored in the second half to improve his seasons tally yet again. This was how the match ended, 4 nil, but Mamaku were very unlucky not to have scored late in the second half.
A strong game by all including another clean sheet by Ethan Pargeter, a strong game by Gerorgia Brouwer in midfield and further improvement by the whole squad.
Player of the match went to Deltyn Scott for his outstanding play throughout the game. Despite scoring 3 goals, he was regularly to be found in defence making strong tackles.
