A two week break didn’t seem to help the Wands as they got off to a slow start. Longwells early pressure led to a corner and on the second time of asking the cross was met on the volley smartly to give them the lead. Wands moved the ball around but couldn’t create the chances needed in the last third of the field. As a result the boys found themselves 3-0 down at half time.

Wands started the second half brightly and thorough some good link up work almost pulled one back with a lob from Ryan beating the keeper but falling wide of the goal. Wands passing game was countered by Longwells more direct approach which Wands struggled to deal resulting in a 5-0 win for a deserved, if slightly flattering, Longwell win.

Man Of The Match performance from Danny Ball who rose to the challenge of playing out of position with some great football!
