A competitive game saw Normanton take the lead only for Hamilton to equalise on the stroke of half time. Both teams were equally matched in the second half and at 2-2 with 20 minutes to go the game could have gone either way. Unfortunately a five minute loss of concentration from the home team allowed Hamilton to score a further two goals and take the three points. Both Normanton goals were scored by top scorer Danny Bridges and assisted by Matthew Field. Man of the Match honours went to James Scott.
