Final game of the season and Normy are up for the game. Weather conditions could not have been better. Normy won the toss and decided to kick down hill. Durka went on the offencive from the kick off with pressure not letting up. After 5 mins of relentless presure Durka got the break through they bwere after 0-1. Normy did not let there heads drop but went on the attack from the kick off with a ball played through from mid field to Tommy but it was played a little too far for him to reach. Durka won a free kick after 7 mins after a hand ball just in our half but were unable to convert it with the ball going wide. Normy again didn-t let Durka have it all their own way and carried on battleing with a well placed corner from Nathan been save by the keeper. From a Durka conner the ball was cleared from the area to be picked up by Rooney to be placed well and truely in the back of the Durka net 1-1 at half time and Durka new they had a game on their hands.
From the kick off Durka went on the attack and the slow of the mark Normy were punished 1-2. Ten mins into the second half saw good linking play in the mid field to put Billy H on goal 2-2 and the contrversal goal of the game saw Normy level. Durka went back on the offencive from the kick off to make it 2-3 in no time. About 13 mins in and some good football from Durka saw them get their 4th goal of the game. The game went from end to end with both sides having chances Durka made it 5-2 with 8 mins left. Normy with their backs to the wall came out fighting with good progress been made in mid field saw Ben through on goal to make it 3-5. the final score was 3-5 with Normy putting on a good fight to the end never letting their heads drop well played lads.
