TEAM HISTORY
2007/2008.START OF SEASON (25/10/07)

THIS IS OUR FIRST SEASON TOGETHER IN OUR PROPER AGE GROUP BECAUSE LAST YEAR WE PLAYED A YEAR ABOVE OURSELVES DUE TO NOT HAVING ENOUGH PLAYERS OF OUR OWN AGE. EXPECTATIONS ARE HIGH DUE TO A GOOD FINISH IN LAST SEASONS LEAGUE AND ALL THE PLAYERS ARE WELL UP FOR IT.DAVE HAS ASKED ANDY TO BE THE MANAGER THIS YEAR DUE TO KARL MOVING UP TO MANAGE THE UNDER 10'S. THEY WILL WORK TOGETHER FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS SEASON AND LOOK FORWARD TO THE CHALLENGE.

2007/2008 END OF SEASON (21/08/08)

Started the season off well coming runners up in the Wrenthorpe gala and runners up in the league cup. We came third in the league and at the end of June we won the Altofts gala. To round off a very good first season we were chosen to represent West Riding County FA at WEMBLEY in the Mcdonalds sponsored national finals.

Should kids in the Under 11 age group continue to play small sided football (as in Scotland & Wales) or should they make the step up to 11-a-side (as in England)?
Small sided football - too early to move up
11-a-side football - time to step up
