A great game of football, which saw champions Chapel slip to only their second league defeat all season. Cranleigh started brightly and took the lead after 10 minutes. Chapel then took hold, and Warren scored with a stunning left foot drive. The game was now wide open with both teams all out for the win. Cranleigh scored two quick goals in the second half, but Chapel hit back through Dowdell with a cool finish and then five minutes before time, Pattison looked to have secured a point with a stunning shot on the turn that gave the keeper no chance. Still there was more drama, with two minutes on the clock Marr turned a shot onto the post for the ball to spin back across the goal straight to the feet on a Cranleigh striker who made it 3-2. Chapel had 2 golden chances in the last minute to salvage the draw, with one saved and Dowdell firing wide
