RE: FA Regional Coach Development Manager Session
Match Day Management
I am delighted to be able to offer your club’s managers & coaches the opportunity to attend the above coaching session as part of Norfolk County FA’s Charter Standard Adult Club programme.
Our FA Regional Coach Development Manager, Ben Bartlett will be delivering the following session;
Match Day Management - Help your team prepare for matchday. This workshop will look at how you can make best use of the time before the game; maximise your players’ development during matches and look at how training can link closer to the match to help your players transfer from practice pitch to game-day.
Ben will be using a group of U16 players to demonstrate his practices. However, the session will be adaptable and relevant for adult players. As your club’s Charter Standard point of contact, could you please ensure the relevant coaches/managers receive this information. Each club is requested to send as many coaches as possible.
The session is being delivered on the following date;
Venue Mulbarton FC (NR14 8AE)
Date Wednesday 14 March
Time 7 – 8:30pm
Please could you contact me at the County Headquarters on 01603 704050 or via email at Darren.Moss@NorfolkFA.com to confirm how many of your club coaches can attend at least 3 days before the event. Please note: Could any attendees confirm if they are a FA Licensed Coach before the event so the relevant CPD hours can be accredited.

Charter Standard Cup Competition

Dear Charter Standard Club Member,
RE: the FDC Charter Standard Club Cup (Adults) – Now is your chance to practice what you preach!
Following 2 very successful inter club 5-a-side competitions held at the FDC, we are launching the very first Charter Standard Club Cup.
The tournament is open to all adults involved in a Norfolk FA Charter Standard Club. You can be a club official, manager, coach, volunteer or a parent of a player within you club.
We all know coaches still think they have got it, now is the time to see if you can put into action everything that you coach your players each week.
A club can enter as many teams as they wish, so you may want to enter as a club or have different teams for each age groups your club has.
The event details are as follows:
Event: the FDC Charter Standard Club Cup
Venue: the FDC, Clover Hill Road, Norwich, NR5 9ED
Date: Thursday 1st March 2012
Time: 6.30 registration for a 7pm kick off
Format: 5-a-side with squads of 8 players
Entry Fee: Only £27.50
Prize: 1 month of FREE FDC pitch hire for your team
So if you are interested in dusting off the boots and showing your young players how to do it then simply complete the attached application form or call me at the FDC on 01603 748944 to enter. Entries are only accepted on a first come basis and spaces will fill fast so don’t miss out.
