Club Vision
To play good football in a safe, fun environment and to instil values that combine success on the football field with fair play.
Welcome to the online home of North Meols Athletic. We are a Family Club with family values. If that strikes a chord then read on.
This club believes that the highest standards of sportsmanship can be combined with good football and success on a football field. We are proud to belong to a community like North Meols and we are especially proud of our players.
If you are the type of parent that sets a poor example on the touchline or puts the result ahead of the team’s welfare then this is not the club for you.

Our Club Badge
Exempli Gratia is Latin meaning ‘by way of example’. We aspire to be a club that others wish to emulate - both on and off the football pitch.
The cross represents that of St Cuthbert who has strong and very special links with North Meols. As for the skull and crossbones…its roots can be found in the village graveyard by the strong hearted.

Our Club Patron
Our club patron is footballing legend Kevin Sheedy. Kevin started his playing career with Hereford United and went on to play at the highest level for Everton, Liverpool, Newcastle and of course the Republic of Ireland. An FA Cup winner and a league title winner, he also became the first Republic of Ireland player to score in the World Cup Finals. Most importantly of all, Kevin supports our players and provides them with an exceptional role model from the world of professional football.
