Full Steam Ahead against Bridgnorth
26 Sep 2011

The Rangers' unbeaten start to the new season continued at Bridgnorth with a 2-0 win that was marred by a nasty injury to Jack Anson (our best wishes go to Jack).

The score-line did not represent the game which was totally dominated by Nova - with Jo Kennedy able to knit a nice sweater in preparation for the winter months whilst counting the blades of grass in his penalty area such was the lads' dominance.

It was probably the most accomplished peformance so far with every player performing at their best, displaying some great pass-and-move football, showing really mature play from an under 13's team.

The scoring was opened following a well worked free-kick by Pilly planted firmly on Jamesy's head. The second was a sublime finish by Noah who continued his great start to the season with a run on the keeper finished with a powerful lob/shot.

A series of corners and Nova pressure pinned Bridgnorth into their half with some great saves by their keeper and at least two headers off the line.

With Jack being taken off to hospital before half-time the lads were determined to win for him - and so they did.
