Old Congs formed at the beginning of the 1993/94 season. They started off by playing friendlies on the astro-turf at Boundary Road.

We carried on playing friendlies for a couple of years before turning fully amateur and enrolled into the St Helens Combination.

In a disastrous first season we finished holding everyone else up……yeah that's bottom.

We then found our feet for a season or two before having a mad three years where we had successive promotions from Division Three into the Prem where we reside today.

As well as 3 promotion seasons, we also had two "successful" cup runs in the Liverpool Junior Cup reching the semi final stages in both the 2004/05 and 2006/07 seasons.
