Dave ‘Gingerman’ Jones

8 years at the club and Dave has finally made the step up from the 4th XI, deservedly handed the armband for the 3rds team. Dave was a talented prospect and started in the 2nd XI, but was asked to ‘do a job’ for the 4th XI in 2002 and never looked back. He has adopted an arsenal-esque approach to the team. He encourages lots of passing and moving, and is strongly against the long ball. It’s a pleasure to watch and a pleasure to play, even if it means we leak goals at the back and score few at the front. A great footballing mind, great reader of the game and is sorely missed when not playing. Apart from his shooting which is a bit C**P.
