The season saw a number a new players enter the side.
Scott McNeil joined from Meds, Tyrele joined from Flixton, Joe Tucker joined from Stretford Vics, while Jack Rimmer rejoined the club from Meds.
2007/2008
The Lions played their first competive season in 2007-2008, finishing behind Unicorn Athletic Jets and Wilmslow Sports (formerly Communities United) and level with Urmston Meadowside B, in Division Two of The Timperley and District Junior League.
The Lions win through to the cup final, of the league, to narrowly lose against a very strong Unicorn Athletic Jets team
The Lions are able to beat several teams from across the North West of England (including Northwich Victoria and Wilmslow Town, who had just completed the league and cup double in Division One). To finally face Leigh R.M.I. (who had a paid coach!) in the final, the Lions were again unfortunate to finish as runners up, as we pushed R.M.I very close in the match
The Lions again mount a strong campaign in Division Two and are able to clinch promotion to Division One, with a third place finish behind Wythenshawe Town and Sale United.
