Star player: Scott McNeill

Lions

Adam Wilson (1)

Jahmarly Frost (1)

Scott McNeill (1)

The customary great start from the Lions saw a Scott throughball, reach J who with a top finish found the back of the net from distance, however the referee saw an infringement of some sort and for the second week in a row, a great goal was to be cancelled out.

Well, it wasn't long before the hordes of Lions fans had something to cheer, Daniel C did really well to win possession and a neat throughball found the advanced figure of Tyrelle, who cleverly found Jahamrly who for the second time finsihed with an exquisite chip, 1-0, particularly sweet for J against one of his former clubs.

Again was proving to be a real thorn in the side of the Fletcher Moss defenders as he was brought down for a penalty in the area, which Adam W despatched with cool aplomb! 2-0

Half time came around and we instructed the lads that a repeat performance of second half displays against Vikings and Vics, was not what we were looking for...

Same old, same old then...not quite, on paper yeas, in reality no.

Moss did come back into the game in the second half, but only after a very commanding start form ourselves.

Adam W found Scott witha neat pass inside the Fletcher area, and with unswerving composure, Scott slotted the ball past the keeper! 3-0.

However, Fletcher are a good side, a victory over Unicorn had proved that already this season.

A missed penalty, a well converted throughball and a break down the right-made it a nervous last few minutes and a 3-3, result, well done Lions!
