Subject: The LSPL Cup: You're in!

Dear Ian,

We’re pleased to inform you that your team has been selected to take part in the first ever Lucozade Sport Performance League Cup. The LSPL Cup is a new competition which is pitting 512 grassroots football teams across the country against each other in a virtual knockout tournament. Each week your team will be drawn at random against another LSPL Cup team and if your winning margin (in your weekend fixture) is higher than theirs you will progress to the next round. All you have to do is make sure your Club Website is up to date with all your fixtures and results, we’ll do the rest!

Each team will receive a case of Lucozade Sport with Caffeine Boost and a Club Website re-skin, while the final 8 teams standing will take part in a play off at the state-of-the-art training facility of Barclays Premier League and European Champions Manchester United.

The tournament will officially kick off on the weekend of January 31st. In the meantime please find attached a contact form which you’ll need to fill out and return to us in order to be able to take part. Any contact details will only be used to keep your team up to date with the LSPL Cup and will not be passed to any third parties.

GIRLS FOOTBALL

We are starting a new Under 11 girls team in the Devon Junior & Minor League for season 2007/08, this is mini soccer (7 a-side with rotating subs). Players must be 9 and under 11 as of 31st Aug 2007. Training is Tuesday evenings 6:30pm to 7:30pm at Loves Field, Central Park, between Goals 5 a-side and Argyle's ground.

BOYS FOOTBALL

Under 10 players also required for mini soccer teams, must be 9 yrs old and under 10 yrs old as of 31st Aug 2006. Contact Ian Nicholls 07742 109462 for further details.
