Well, the final game of a long season has arrived and Oldswinford are visited by a Tipton Town team looking to prepare for next season. Things didn’t go quite to play for Oldswinford when they found themselves 0-1 down and then chasing the game. Amandip scored to bring us level at 1-1 with a very good finish after a burst of pace got him the chance. Oldswinford seemed to be on their holidays early this year and went in at half time 1-2 down after allowing Tipton the time and space to score again.
Oldswinford came out positive in the second half and created a wonderful opportunity when Amandip fired goal ward, the keeper saved it but the rebound fell to Josh who with a little fortune was able to bundle the ball past the keeper for 2-2. Oldswinford again fell behind to another Tipton goal for 2-3. It seems they like to chase games for points! Oldswinford did pull it out of the bag before the full time whistle when Alex J passed wide to Josh who finished from the edge of the area for 3-3.
You played well again today on another soggy Wednesday evening.
Man of the match today was Dean.
