Old Windsor Football celebrated it’s centenary season in 1998 have been formed as a village team in 1898, as with today the club colour were the distinctive red and black stripes. It is not clear when Old Windsor first started playing League football or if they were a founder member of the Slough and District League in 1912, but they were competing in the League by 1920. One of the most successful times in the clubs history was immediately after the second world war, when the team won the first division as well as twice being runners up in the Slough Town cup and as well as being runners up in the Fielden Cup in 1947/8 and1948/9. Between the 50’s and 80’s the club ran a first and reserve team in the Slough and District League.

Then in 1988 the Football Club amalgamated with the Working Men’s Club and switched to the East Berks League on a Saturday and Thames Valley League on Sunday’s. In their second season the team went on a 2 year unbeaten League run winning division 4 and 3 in successive seasons as well as the presidents cup. This was followed 2 seasons later with promotion to the top division where they have competed for 12 seasons. 2004/5 saw the club loose in the Fielden Cup on penalties to Burnham seniors, 2005/06 season saw Old Windsor loose 1-0 this time against Spital OB in what was be a competitive local derby.

Season 2006-7 saw the Sunday team finish runners up in division one of the Thames Valley League earning promotion to the premier division. Season 2007-08 was one of the most successful season for the Sunday team in recent history with the 1st team getting to 2 cup finals and finishing 3rd in the premier division. The Roy Lester Cup saw a victory against our local rivals Microblast winning 3-0 at Stag meadow. The Sunday and Saturday reserves also enjoyed the season and gained promotion to division 3

The Football Club is an integral part of Old Windsor village live, as well as the Saturday team and Sunday mens team there is a successful youth section called Old Windsor Tigers, which runs at 6 different age groups.
