Overton returned to winning ways a game that was never going to be a classic. The wind again made it difficult for both teams but it was Sparky who opened the scoring after just 2 mins when he was put clean through to slot the ball past the onrushing keeper. Overton dominated then for the next 20 minutes before Acrefair began to pass and work the ball well. It remained 1-0 at half time but the chances Overton missed could have been crucial after Acrefair were givern the freedom of the penalty area again like teams are most weeks to equalise. The game could have gone either way then for the next 10 minutes but it was Flee who popped up to slide home the winner from tweets cross come shot. 2-1 and 3 points but the performance was not as good as the previous game at Penycae but its points that matter at this stage of the season.
