Latest News Details of Season 09-10 will follow once we know our fixtures      Poor discipline marred our season but our league status has been retained and 5th Place was a good finish in Div 3 considering the problems this year!
ABOUT THE CLUB

Season 2008-09
Started badly with us getting thumped and the age of the team needed to come down. We made some crucial signings and things picked up and depsite spending most of the season lagging behind (it was because we had so many games in hand). We eventually finished 5th in Div 3 and really should have ended up higher. We had many games lost to the odd goal and poor discipline was again a feature of our year. This has to improve if we want to continue.
Season 2007-08:
Update (8th May)
Well we ended up winning Division 5 with a good 7/8 point gap between us and the next side Bisterne. On the 13th May I have to attend a hearing about the abandoned game against Suttonerers and complaints made about Parkside and rough play. The presentation of the league trophy will be on 22nd May and only 3 people per club are allowed to attend (they have 16 divisions to present to!). Carl is going to book tables and arrange for a team presentation evening (will be for a Tues or Thurs). We will get 14 winners medals so will need to order more (cost £10 each). As for next season we will discuss some of the plans during the evening meal out.
Update (21st April)
The game last Saturday against Bisterne was postponed (their pitch was waterlogged) so we have the chance to secure the title at home this Saturday against Bournemouth EMS on Kings Park 2. Would be great to have a large crowd there to cheer us on and I know Arron was pleased the Bisterne game got rained off as he was away! So let us go get those 3 points we need to take the Division 5 Championship Title lads and for Deano to bang a few goals in, in the process so he can get the Golden Boot! C'mon the Parkside - this is our chance to make a bit of history!
Update (15th April)
We go away to Bisterne next Saturday 19th where a win will guarantee us the Division 5 title (Champions!). So what a season this has been. Top of the league since 1st March, a Cup Final and almost Division 5 Champions with a team average age about 35 years. Should we only draw it should be enough for the title and a defeat would mean we would need 3 points from our final 2 games. Almost there lads and what a season it has been!!!
Update (3rd April)
Well we sadly lost the Cup Final 0-2 to Bearwood in front of a crowd of over 250! However our league position is looking very good and we are currently on 48 points at the top of the league with a target of 3 more wins to secure the league title. If we win our next 2 matches then the game against Bisterne on 19th April will be for the championship! Worth coming to that one if you can so see if we can win the league.

This season has so far gone really well. We have reached the final of the MA Hart Hayward Cup with the final taking place on Thurs 13th March at Hurn Bridge (under floodlights) and Kick Off is 7:30pm - so please make sure we have a massive crowd there to cheer us on. We will meet Bearwood United.

As for our league form we have only lost once so far and lie 2nd with 4 games in hand and only 2 points behind the team at the top (Suttoners who we play on 16th Feb).

So we have the chance of doing the double and winning some trophies!

Please read the item marked New Season 07-08 on the Notice Board for information on the new season!!

Parkside finish the season in 5th Place in Division 5 in only our second year together.

Parkside Wandereres secured promotion from Division 6 in their first season in the Bournemouth Hayward League and look forward to more success in Season 06/07 in Division 5
