Garys' funeral will take place in Glasgow on Fri 22nd Feb and as such the league has kindly agreed to postponed the match the following day (23rd Feb) against New Milton Eagles
Update in this weeks match (9th Feb)
Date: 08/02/08
WE are home to Burley this sat on KP2. We will be holding a minutes silence in memory of Gary Anderson who died last sunday and the BFA League will be sending a representative to the game in support of this. As you can imagine this will be a very difficult game for the team as we have all been knock sideways with Garys' death. Hopefully we can pull together and produce a performance of good attacking football and goals to honour him.
Gary Anderson has died
Date: 04/02/08
Gary Anderson sadly died this weekend (Sunday 3rd Feb). He will be greatly missed by us all and certainly by the team. His playing record was second to none as he played 63 games scoring 74 goals! He rarely missed a game and even came along when he was banned (following a red card) and ran the line. Our thoughts go out to his family during this difficult time. We will honour him with a minutes silence this saturday (9th Feb) when we play Burley and will ask the league if we can do the same in the Cup Final.

New Season 07-08
Date: 27/07/07
As the new season approaches we have our first fixture (Fencing Centre in the Cup at home in Kings Park on pitch 3).
You will need to complete a green player registration form with Carl (club treasurer) before you can play and the charge for registering with the club is £5 (the form costs £4 and with return postage we are not doing this to make money but to cover the costs). Once you have registered you can then be eligible for selection.
The subs / match fees for this season will be £5 a game (this is what all other clubs charge)and will be very strict about you paying this. You will not be allowed to run up outstanding match fees and you may find you are not picked if you do try and avoid paying. So please do not put the pressure on others to carry you, if you want to play then you need to pay!
The other important thing to note this season is discipline on the pitch. We had far too many Red / Yellow cards and this must change! If you do get carded when the account comes through from the FA for your fine it will be given to you and it will be your responsibility to pay it (and to do this promptly). If you dont then Hampshire FA will charge you an additional £25 late payment fee and you will be unable to play as you will be banned by the league until the fine is cleared.
We have the new kits and we will be wearing both of them for games. The Yellow kit is our away strip or for when we have a kit clash. Remember the kit is the property of the club so no taking it and saying you will return it the following week. The club will impose fines for players seen wearing club kit when we are not playing.
Burley game 31st March
Date: 29/03/07
Meet 12:45 this saturday at the cafe in Kings Park as we are home to Burley. We need to win this one as we do all the remaining games to keep the pressure on the other sides. Also last time we met at their place we had a frustrating afternoon and drew 1-1 in a game in which Matty so badly broke his ankle & leg he will be out for a year.
Alderholt game on 24th March
Date: 20/03/07
This saturday we face the new league leaders Alderholt on KP4 and victory would send us top. WE owe them after they beat us 3-0 in our first game of the season. They have a miserly defence but don't score many so this could be a tight one! Hopefully this week I will have a camera to take pictures of you in the new kit.
Away to Wessex Lions on 17/03
Date: 13/03/07
This week we have Wessex Lions away in the return fixture. We must play as a team and take them on without losing our shape, discipline and maintain a good attitude. The way we have played in some of our recent games has been superb but we need to watch losing it and getting involved in petty squabbles. The easiest way to shut them up is to score! Meet at 12:30 at Kings Park cafe as we have to then get to ROKO and I want to try and take some team / individual photos to update the website.
Subs and costs
Date: 13/03/07
What with us having 4 home matches in March is is essential that all the subs are paid as this month is going to cost far more than we will be collecting. So please pay your subs and dont put us in a difficult position.
Sorry for the delay
Date: 01/03/07
I have been off work sick the last 2 weeks so I have only just got around to updating the next set of fixtures for March. We have 5 games (4 of them at home) and we will face Wessex Lions twice and Alderholt. These games can make a real difference on the league table so victories will be very nice indeed. I have now sent the money off for our new kits and am awaiting delivery which should hopefully be before the end of the month! See you all 12:45 on sat at the cafe for the crucial first meeting this season with Wessex Lions (who think they have what it takes to beat us I have heard!).
Club Sponsor
Date: 14/02/07
As of yesterday (13th Feb) we now have a club sponsor - Providence Projects. After some negotiation Steve, Carol and Paul at the Providence presented the club with a cheque from which we will purchse a new Home (Royal Blue and White) and Away (Yellow and Blue) kit. This will have the club badge / moto printed and the sponsors' logo and should take about a month to get from the suppliers (Pendle). This is so good for the club as we were rapidly running out of white socks and the shorts were looking as if they had seen better days. We will get some jackets for the substitutes to wear and some extra balls and new water bottles. This is hopefully the start of an annual sponsorship in which we can each year purchase equipment and the plan is that next season we can get tracksuits or rain jackets with the the club details printed on them.

Game on 17th Feb
Date: 12/02/07
We have Duke of Wellington this Saturday on Kings Park 6 so please be at the Cafe for 12:45. We will get changed in the portacabins on the other side of the park as the pitch is by the cabins.
Another cancelled game
Date: 12/02/07
The game on Sat (10th Feb) was postponed due to waterlogged pitches). That is 4 postponed games we now have to wait to be re-arranged just hope we do not end up playing 2 games a week at the end of the season.
Walkford Stores
Date: 08/01/07
This weekendend we are playing Walkford Stores (we have not played these before) and the game is over at Fawcetts Fields which is in New Milton. The meet time will be 12:15 and don't be late.
Boscombe Celtic game postponed
Date: 08/01/07
As you are all aware due to the heavy rain last week our match against Boscombe Celtic was called off (as were all the other local matches). I know Carl will be relieved as it means he will be able to play in the re-arranged game.
Boscombe Celtic & January Fixtures
Date: 03/01/07
Welcome back chaps. I have now posted the fixtures for our January games and this could be a great month for us should we get maximum points. This weekend we face Boscombe Celtic in the return fixture and are playing on Kings Park 3. So meet at the Cafe at 12.45 and we will get changed there befopre making our way across to the pitch. KP3 is the one in the dip on its own between the athletics stadium and AFC Bournemouth. We have always done well on this pitch so let's hope our good run of form continues and we give them the tonking they should have got last time. No doubt there will again be a very large crowd for a Div 5 Sat afternoon par4k match but that is because everyone loves the Parkside and the lads who turn out for them each week!
Andre Kritzinger
Date: 15/12/06
If you have not already heard ANdre Kritzinbger sadly died recently. Andre has been associated with the club for many years going as far back as when we we called Newstart FC playing in a different league. Andre was one of those players who no matter how fit he was his quality always shone through and he could play anywhere on the pitch. He was commanding in the middle of the pitch and centre half and was superb whenever asked to play in goal. He was the team manager for most of one season (when we were Newstart) and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
We will have a minutes silence and wear black armbands as a mark of our respect to him and his family.
Game on 16th Dec
Date: 12/12/06
For the match this Saturday on 16th Dec we are away to Pheonix at Strouden Park 4 and will meet at 12.45 at Kings Park Cafe for the short trip to Charminster. They have had a couple of good recent results as they climb off the bottom of the league and are looking to press on - like we are. So let us have a repeat of last week and Xmas will have come early!
Pitch change for 9th Dec versus Griffin
Date: 05/12/06
We have been moved from Kings Park 6 and are now on Kings Park 2 this saturday so the meet will be at 1.00 by the Cafe and we will be getting changed there. Hopefully this pitch is now better and the rain not force the game to be called off
20th Jan versus Wessex Lions
Date: 15/01/07
The meet for this match will be at 12:45 at the Kings Park Cafe and we are allocated KP4 to play on
New Club Badge / Logo
Date: 24/01/07
I have designed a club crest / badge / logo (whatever you want to call it. It has been added to the Team Home Page. The latin quote means - Fortuune Favours The Brave. When we get a new kit I am hoping to have the logo put on the shirts (if it does not cost too much).
Game this Sat 27th Jan 07
Date: 24/01/07
We are away this saturday to Griffin and are playing at Strouden Park pitch 2. Meet 12:45 at the Cafe in Kings Park. Carl has now served his 7 week ban and only ended up missing 2 games so he is back and this week I signed Steve (Ostrich?) Harris.
Game on 3rd Feb
Date: 02/02/07
We are away to Burley this saturday so meet at 12:15 at Kings Park and please if you have a car bring it in case we are short of lifts to get everyone there.
