A Title Winning Season
The 2010-2011 goes down as a historic season as the Reserves won Parrs Wood's first trophy since 1987. The title went down to the last game of the season where Parrs Wood had to beat Aldermere to clinch the title. We came out 5-2 winners with goals from Martin Hall, DJ Akim, Kasanda Kibalabala, Gavin Bowen and skipper and Club Secretary Jimmy Clark.
The Reserves also got the the quarter-finals of the Wray Cup beating Division A and B teams on the way befoe going down to Bedians who currntly lie 5 divisons above them.
The team mainly comprised of stalwart; Richard 'Tricky' Odell, Jimmy Clark, Adam Bevan, Martin Hall, Sam Martin, Dave Woodall and Gavin Bowen. But with an influx of newcomers; DJ Akim, Ewen MacKinnon, Jamie Price, Kasanda Kibalabala, Graham Osifo and player-of-the-season Andy Whittle, Steve Taylor's produced one of the most consistent season's for Parrs Wood in living memory.
