The team was formed in 2005 by K Mcgrory and K Jones and started out as Paynes Park Superstars. T Gear was then brought in to partner K Mcgrory and for our first season we did very well finishing 7th. With over 30 players signed up to play it was decided that the team would split into two teams. So from 2006 we were known as Paynes Park. K. Mcgrory is still running the team with kip. The season didnt start too well but we are now starting to find our feet.
2006/07 season finished with us 4th from bottom. A lot of games this season we should easily had won but complacency and lack of fitness let us down. As the season bore on we started to gell with a few wins under our belt.
Could have done better but looking forward to next season.
