The under 12's returned to league action with a home fixture against a much improved Bolton Lads. In freezing conditions the first 15 minutes was a tight affair with neither side able to break the defences down, but from a throw in Aaron Wilson found himself some space and a smart shot saw him loop the ball over the keepers head to break the deadlock, from here we powered on with Astyn Driver next on the score sheet, Aaron repeated the first goal to put us 3-0 up and then an unfortunate og by Bolton made it 4, Bolton continued to play football though and were rewarded with a goal of their own sending the sides in 4-1 at the break. The second stanza saw new boy Luke Blinston notching his first for the club, then Astyn got his second followed by 2 goals to Bolton as we took our foot off the gas a little, however we got back into our stride and goals from Graisdon Sabinda and Astyn completing his hat trick saw us 8-3 winners, with Cory Lomas picking up the MotM honours for a splendid all round game.
