Penn & Tylers Green Rangers FC is the sister club to Penn & Tylers Green FC. It was originally formed to provide P&TG with "second" teams in the junior age groups (under 11 to under 16).
This has enabled the club to provide an opportunity for many boys to take part in fully competitive 11 a side football who may have been unable to make it into the P&TG squad.
This has enabled the club (meaning P&TG and Penn & Tylers Green Rangers combined) to maintain a much larger pool of players as each year group moves through the age bands. Many players have over the years been transferred between the two clubs reflecting the great variation in the speed at which individual players develop.
As with P&TG, the Rangers compete in the Hazlemere Windows Junior Football League (the link to HWJFL website can be found on the "useful links" page of this website).
As the combined club continues to grow in size and strength, so too do the Rangers as reflected by the recent promotions of the under 16's (currently in Division 3) and the under 15's (last season's Division 2 champions who join the P&TG team in Division 1 for the 2011-12 season) and it is no coincidence that the corresponding P&TG teams have both been very strong ever since they moved into 11 a side football (the current P&TG team being 2010-11 Division 1 Champions and Cup winners).
