Peterborough Ladies were crowned Eastern Regional Premier League Cup champions with a brilliant 1-0 victory over Dagenham & Redbridge.
In a match heavily dominated by Peterborough, a host of easily missed chances frustrated the city side but Clare Knibbs settled their nerves with a well taken strike early in the 2nd half.
Team manager Maria Rudd, said: "We played extremely well and totally dominated the game. We lost 4-0 in the league to Dagenham but we were very poor on that day and this result shows we really have a great side."
