Phoenix Junior Football Club was founded in 2002 by Kevin Marsden and the late Nicholas Le Blanc due to the competitiveness that was taking shape at the football clubs their children/grandchildren were at. The club started with just 1 team consisting of 11 players aged 7 - 8 yrs and joined the junior football league in the season 2002/03. Kevin and Nick's philosophy for the club was that any child of any ability will have the opportunity to play football. They wanted the children to have fun and enjoyment free from pressure to "win at any cost" and develop team working and building relationships.
Over each of the subsequent seasons the club has been fortunate enough to have attracted sufficient children to establish 6 more teams. We have expanded and now have teams at under 7's,8's,9's,10's,11's and 14's to complement our u17's.
