Phoenix Royals Football Club are looking to expand and as such will be taking on new teams for the coming 2008/2009 season. We formed this club in 2006 and have so far had two successful seasons – there will be many more to follow. If you have a new team who are looking for a home or are indeed looking for a change and want to be part of a friendly well run club then give us a call - we will be delighted to meet you. There will also be opportunities in some of our existing teams for new players. We are based in the Kingston area with home grounds here and in Sutton.

Season 2007/08

To all Players, Parents, Team officials Sponsors and anyone else who has an interest in our new club.

Welcome to the new season that is now rapidly approaching, our first games due on 9th September are now just a few short weeks away. Have we really had a summer break from football and is it really three months since we were last out on the parks? It certainly doesn’t seem like it to us because as anyone who has had any experience in organising a football club will tell you, this time of year is when all of the hard work is carried out behind the scenes and getting it right now minimises any problems later on. Nevertheless, I hope that you have all had an enjoyable break and that your holidays weren’t ruined by the awful weather that we have had. Still, let’s hope that the worst of that is now over.

Our two founding teams will both be competing at U/14’s level and I’m absolutely delighted to report that the majority of the players who represented us last season have signed for us again, this can only mean that they are happy with what we are doing. I’m also delighted to welcome a new team into the club who will be playing at U/13’s level. I’d like to wish John, Ian, and all of your parents and players a very warm welcome to Phoenix Royals and I hope that you enjoy your football with us.

I look forward to getting to most games (hopefully refereeing some of them) and meeting those of you who are new to the club. It only remains for me to say at this time that we want you to enjoy your football, play to win but not at all costs and always be proud to say that you are members of this football club.
