Pie and Bovril FC were formed towards the end of 2005 by David Worton and Andrew Caldwell. Early results were unimpressive, and the idea that girls were allowed to play was also entertained. Needless to say, the team were regularly on the wrong end of thrashings every week.

However, with the addition of several quality players, the quad have become a very decent and capable team. Currentlt playing the Scottish Supporter's Mini League, Pie and Bovril Select are emerging as a force to be reckoned with.
