A friendly fun Football Club for 5 - 11 year old girls and boys. The club philosophy is to provide a fun environment for the children and to allow everyone to play, regardless of ability.
The club was formed in 2007 with the main aim of getting children in the village (and surrounding areas) away from the telly and computers, out in the fresh air and getting exercise at the weekends. It is also a great opportunity to meet new friends.
The club benefits from professional coaching supported by BSS. Katie Flack, the coach, is a well respected professional footballer herself, playing for Charlton Athletic.
Pluckley junior FC is part of Egerton and Pluckley United FC which contains an adult men's football club. It is affiliated to the FA, all relevant personnel have been CRB checked and the number of qualified first aiders has recently been increased.
The club currently has 3 teams:
- Under 11s (Pluckley Spirits)
- U9s (Pluckley Sharks)
- U8s (Pluckley Panthers)
