Polegate Town end season as Blacklands Finance Challenge Cup winners
Polegate Town had their most successful season since reforming, winning the prestigious Blacklands Finance Challenge Cup, beating Peche Hill Select 3-1. The last time a Polegate team won the Cup was back in the 1970's.
Town also reached the final of the Eastbourne Challenge Cup for the 2nd year running, unfortunately losing to Eastbourne United 1-3.
Town also finished a respectful 5th place in the league despite a poor start to the season.
