We will be looking for sponsors for next season.  The cost of sponsoring a first team home match is only £50.  For this you receive 4 complimentary tickets, acknowledgement in the match day programme and poster and half-time refreshments in the committee room.

ADVERTISING BOARDS

The cost of having an advertising board (approx size 8ft x 2ft) at The Hollow is £500 for the first year.  We require the artwork to be supplied and then we will arrange printing and E******N of the board.

The cost of rental for the second and subsequent years is £150 per year.

Dear Member

As another membership year draws to a close we would sincerely like to thank you for supporting our club this season, it has been very much appreciated.

Week 50 and the final draw for this year will take place on Thursday 14 June at 8.30pm at The Clubhouse, The Hollow, Biggleswade Road, Potton and you are cordially invited to attend this final draw. The Week 50 prizes are £1500, £400 and £200.

The Patrons Club has been the main source of our clubs funds, and in the absence of any major sponsorship we have to concentrate our efforts on the Patrons Club, as both Football Association and League rules are insisting on improved ground facilities and this will require financing.  One of the main reasons that we were unfortunately relegated two season’s ago is that our ground does not meet all of the requirements of the FA and the League. 

We sincerely hope you are able to continue you membership and your collector has a good supply of membership cards.  It would be helpful if you could persuade a business colleague, a member of the family or a friend to join this year as we would like to increase our numbers so that in future years we are able to offer higher prizes, that will make it even more attractive to join.  We will continue with the weekly prizes of £25 per week and then every fifth week the prize will be £100.

This year, as last, we are offering the following terms of payment:

v  Payment of £45 for the whole year’s membership, payable in advance.

v  Payment of two amounts of £23, being 25 weeks membership payable in advance.

v  Paying weekly amounts of £1 to your collector.

v  Payment by Direct Debit of £4 per month for the 12 months.  These forms are available from your collectors.

The first draw of the new period will also be made on Saturday 7 July, so please let your collector know that you wish to renew membership as early as possible, together with any potential new members.

I do hope you continue with your membership and are able to recommend some more members so that in future years we can consider increasing the level of prizes.

Your support is very welcome as this Patrons Club has been an invaluable source of income for the club. 

On the reverse of this letter are some points of interest about the club, and we would ask you to read them and consider some of the points hoping that you would be able to offer more support for our Club.
